The staff were outstandingly accommodating and welcoming and the location was magnificent down the street from the Steamship Authority terminal. It was also just next door to the downtown area, many restaurants, and the center.
It had awful views.

I enjoyed my stay, especially the comfortable room and the friendly staff who always had a smile. The breakfast was basic but just enough to start the day. Having access to a historic place. I appreciated the cleanliness and the quality of the bathroom amenities.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The ambiance is lovely, with antique furnishings, oil painting and pristinely restored rooms. Location was very convenient.
The hotel could focus a little more on green practices. Bar of soap was discarded by cleaning staff each day....certainly could have been used the next day. No option for using towels a second day. Plastic disposable dishes for the continental breakfast, could be replaced with washable china. Other than that, not much to change.

Perfect for Couples Who Appreciate Charm
We had an very nice time at this charming place. The staff were friendly and accommodating-they even let us check in early, a big plus for us. The location was prime, and they had beach chairs and umbrellas for us to take to the shore. Plus, imagine enjoying a complimentary breakfast while lounging-those croissants were fresh and to die for!
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for what we experienced, it was worth it.

The staff were wonderful. The house is beautiful. The location is excellent for someone interested in the history of the island because it is right near the whaling museum.
We were told that we would be in the main building but were not put there. The adjacent building was fine, except the bathtub and shower really need an update. The room itself was lovely. i did not like the smell of the cleaning products used in the room. no glass was provided in the bathroom, but bottled water was available. we wondered if the quality of the tap water is not good.

Great location, friendly vibe!
We spent 3 nights here for my bday and the location was spot on! Staff was super friendly, but the room was kinda outdated and the AC was pretty loud. Breakfast options were basic, bagels and a few muffins, not the best setup. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating at the restaurant, though!

Staff is friendly, the room was clean.
Paper Thin walls!!! Heard two people snoring, kept me awake. Then some men were talking loudly (apparently drunk) outside our room for at least 30 minutes. The bed was very uncomfortable, it was hot. And the bathroom walls needed repairs. Frankly I was very disappointed, I will not stay there again.

I booked a room online with 2 twin beds since I was traveling with my son. The price quoted online was 125.00. When we arrived, we were told that our room was a queen bed only. When I told the girl on the desk that I had definitely booked the twin room, she told me that if I had, it would have cost 199.00 a night. I feel that we were lied to. I specifically booked the twin room. When I looked online there were 2 rooms available, a queen room and a twin room which was listed for 125.00. This is what I booked. They were able to find us a room with a pull out couch but it was not what we expected. Other than that, the place was fine.

Compared to my previous visit to nantucket, the staff were friendly, and the location was perfect for exploring downtown. The complimentary shuttle service to the beaches was a fantastic bonus.
